Gift Shop featuring handmade items crafted in the Great Smoky Mountains by local artists and craft folks. Media includes but not limited to wood, clay, textiles, leather, and metal crafting various items for personal, gift, and home use.
Handmade quality useful products go back for many years. The "Old Timers", as my departed mother always said, “They could not afford to buy store bought goods because they had no money so they crafted whenever possible what they needed.” Many of those items made for ever day use are now heirloom items pasted down through generations and others are in the hands of collectors. I love to craft items that can be used every day and pasted down which out last and perform many of today’s mass produced items coming in from overseas.
Located in the Great Smoky Mountains with many outstanding natural wonders of nature nearby. Store is on Highway 441/23 approximately 15 miles from the Georgia State line, 45 miles from the Tennessee State Line, and 30 miles from the South Carolina State line. The Cherokee Indian Reservation is approximately 30 miles away.
I have been selling my own products on line or four years and at craft shows off and on for over 20 years.
